force directed graph : label on edge and graph going out of bounds

I am not able to add any labels on edges. Is there any work around for that?
also, graph is going out of bound even after setting width & height. scroll not working.

sorry, i meant the whole graph is going out of bounds. like in the image, node near to top border of the container is hidden behind it. not able to resolve this.
also, I am not able to add any label on edges of force directed graph. Please help me on that also
