Enable "Publisher Verification" on GitHub Marketplace #247
Comments
Hey, thank you for the kind words and the question! Hmm, generally I'm all for the verified badge, but I noticed this is only available for GitHub organizations and not personal accounts. That would require me to create a new organization and transfer this repository there. That would imply changing the name under which this action can be imported into workflows and is therefore quite a major change for consumers. Hmm, unfortunately not such a straightforward change :-/ |
Hi @amannn,
Thanks a lot for all your work with this GitHub Action - it's fantastic and I use it across various projects. One of the organizations I'm working with requires that all GitHub Actions used are verified publishers. Hence, I was wondering whether you would consider to verify on Marketplace? If yes, you can do so here: https://docs.github.com/en/apps/github-marketplace/github-marketplace-overview/applying-for-publisher-verification-for-your-organization#requesting-publisher-verification
Currently
Once verified
Thanks and have a good weekend ahead!
