Allow editing of files from PRs when a file is selected

Overview

Recently, a feature was added to allow editing of files from PRs. The "Edit" button for a file is visible when selecting a folder/section under the files navigation pane. It would be nice if there was a way to edit a file when a single file was selected in the files navigation pane.

I recently had a PR where I was migrating code. The PR contained more than a 1000 files. I wanted to make a quick edit a file that was towards the bottom and at the root level. Using the current "Edit" button was not realistic since I would need to select the outermost folder and then scroll through >1000 files to find the one I wanted edit.

Describe the solution you'd like

I want the ability to select a single file in the files navigation pane and have some way to edit that file. I think there are a lot of different ways the edit operation could be made available that would work for me.
