I just wanted to ask if changes introduced by go mod and go 1.12 don't make this repository a bit outdated/obsolete ?

Hi. I haven't used Go in a long while so I'm not qualified to talk about new developments in the area of package management. As far as I'm aware, there are still multiple different options being used in the wild.
