UI kitten with expo - have to save twice for changes. Is this a known issue?

Hello,
Is anyone else experiencing this as well? I have to save my changes twice to see them on the simulator.

But, when I update the code for the default expo App component (hello world) the changes are reflected on the first save (as it should).
