It would be nice if there was a feature in place where "trusted users" (Either defined by manually assigned VIP status or based on reputation and registration time) are allowed to submit segments in broader chunks.

Example:

"Trusted users" should be able when submitting a segment that it applies to the whole currently playing playlist. Especially useful for Let's Plays where the Youtuber uses a Intro and endcard throughout a few hundred videos which would be painfully slow to submit otherwise.

I have thought about, made and scrapped a tool for making bulk submissions because I think it would just be too much hassle to ensure the segment is good and most people would simply skip it or mash their way through any prompts to check the segments, creating even more work for VIPs having to review all the segments made in that timeframe or just having to resort to a ban

Well, the alternative is that no one is gonna bother doing it and so the addon remains ineffective

but people ARE already doing it, just that they want a more convenient way to do it.

Restrict it to people that are trustworthy, and against bulk submissions from normal users you can make a ratelimit
