Right now we have too much functionality bundled into mudrod-core.
We should re-organize the core module, splitting out the following packages

mudrod-es (all elasticsearch code)
mudrod-metadata
mudrod-ontology
mudrod-recommendation
mudrod-semantics
mudrod-ssearch

We can do this towards the end of our project...
