Currently the email subject reads something like this:

<name of person> has shared how they feel

It is a bit weird to use "they" to designate a specific person whose gender is known. Would it be possible to use the correct gendered pronoun instead?

Thanks but "they" is an accepted neutral singular pronoun. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they

I'm sorry I closed this issue too quickly. The PR (#69) was incorrect in its implementation but this issue is actually more interesting. In the context of this email, the person is known and ideally should display the correct pronoun depending on the person. So even though "they" is correct but it is not the best.

To get this right, Humeur would need to pull the gender of the employees from Alibeez (which has this info), and display the correct pronoun accordingly.

The API through which Humeur gets this data is Proxybeez. Proxybeez would need to support the gender field for Humeur to retrieve it.

FYI, the field in Alibeez is named gender and the possible values are MALE and FEMALE (they probably should support at least another value).
