Just chatted with Kate and she came up with a great idea to add a link to the web fonts in the Blender page. Doing this means users don't have to do a Blend then open the index page then find the link to the web font. When we get requests for web fonts we can direct people to the Blender where they can link directly to the fonts. Note: This does not apply to desktop fonts. A desktop font licence is a completely seperate licence which we do not have.
The link to the webfont should be added in the info box at the bottom of the page.

The font download link should also be mentioned in the Fonts section of the Typography page (under 'Brand font'). That's where I'd be looking. Any reason why it shouldn't go there?

We will introduce a new Fonts implementation article with download link, and refer to that in the Blender, GUI-docs _fonts and Typography article.

The article will cover system font stacks, web fonts, licensing, font files, font formats, drawbacks and implementation etc.
