Spectator Stats never show negative oil

Describe the bug
The Spectator Stats panel shows the Power of each player. But it never goes below 0, despite this happening all the time!

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Watch replay
2. Keep watching
3. Realize that Power never becomes negative
4. See error

Spectator Stats should show negative oil

You misunderstand what a player's negative oil is. The game does not issue credits for construction. So you always have 0 or more oil.

A negative value is displayed when you want to build on missing oil. Suppose you have a balance of 20, and you sent a unit to be built for 100. Then you will see a deficit of -80 in the interface. The deficit will decrease and when the balance reaches 100, oil will be written off and production will begin.
Large numbers in deficit show that production and research are standing still and waiting for oil to arrive. It is better not to allow this, it slows down research and complicates production control. It's good practice to reduce the number of queues.
