'Upcoming Events' need to be up to date

Problem:
All the upcoming events shown on the homepage were last year.

We need to:

1. Add upcoming events, as well as populate prior events that have happened. These events do not have to be VWC-hosted; anything we've been part of should be here.
2. A way for the upcoming events to be what's shown in the slider in the home page----and for others, once they've past, to exist as an record in the /events page only.

Why is this important:

1. We want people to know what's happening at VWC
2. Prior events inside the website: we'd love to have a good record of the work we've already done in the event space.
