Compiling it for you will do you no good.
Firstly, you should try using the normal Source Engine 2007(or preferably newer versions) if you wish to make a mod.

However, what compiler are you using and what errors did you receive?

@aliiihey You basically haven't answered me.
Which errors are you getting?

Also, I still highly recommend not using this version of Source Engine.

I can't even imagine how long its going to take you to fix this but whatever. Its not made to run on any Windows above 2013 I don't believe, make sure u have libs installed (this can be a pain in the ass if u didn't install VS2013 back in 2013). Whatever error u get post it here and I will try and help you.

Well if you for example want to make a mod for portal 1 or hl 2 use this -> https://github.com/Enhanced-Source-Project/Enhanced-Source

From what I remember you need to have downloaded the version of Visual Studio that the .sln file supports (in most cases this was Visual Studio 2013) and it allowed me to compile the files in VS2019, though you CAN NOT change the version of the files in the solution and have to keep them default to the version but edit them in 2019.

To compile the source code, use Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition. Not 2008, 2013 OR 2019
image

It only compiles on 2005. It will never properly compile via any other version.

Every single Project compiled perfectly on 2005.
