Documentation on the absorption coefficient #619

Hello everyone!

I suspect that the documentation on the absorption coefficient of building wall is wrong.

It is documented as follows:
"Description: Wall absorption coefficient [0,1] (between 0 : “fully absorbent” and 1 : “fully reflective”)".
However, the absorption coefficient of 0 means fully reflecting and 1 means fully absorbing.

The calculation results show higher sound levels when the coefficient is low, so I think modification is necessary just regarding the documentation.

Please confirm this.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback

Yes the documentation is wrong.

The default value is 0.1, it is hard wall, so there is little absorption.

0 is fully reflective and 1 fully absorbing.
