External NVMe enclosure not working properly

Device: Apple MacBook Air (M1, 2020, 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM)
Distro: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with 6.5.0-1013-apple-arm

I'm using SK Hynix P31 Gold 500GB SSD with RevuAhn UX980 NVMe enclosure. It works perfectly on macOS, but on Linux, even a simple umount operation takes long time. Formatting partition to ext4 takes abnormally long time as well.
