Good suggestion from @apdjustino that we add linting to the continuous integration checks, to help enforce consistent coding style.

For example, some of our other libraries use pycodestyle with default settings: https://github.com/urbansim/upload_validation/blob/feature/network-data-validation/.travis.yml#L41
