* ~3-4 pounds of peeled and 1/2" sliced sweet potato/yam
* 1/4 cup (honey|maple syrup)
* 1/4 cup grated ginger
* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 1/2 cup cream
* 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
* salt & pepper to taste

Steam sweet potato/yam till fork soft.

In sauce pan combine (honey|maple), ginger, butter, cardamom, and salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Heat to simmering.

Mash and combind.
