Depthmap doesn't work properly (Actual lines are created inside both the blocks & Roads)

Hi
There are many lines inside the blocks, while I need the actual lines inside the roads.

1. I imported the dxf file
2. I created the axial line map and
3. I used the automatic actual line analysis. There are many lines everywhere inside blocks and roads once step 3 is completed!!!

• Twice again I drew Autocad lines to make sure there are not any unconnected lines!
  Could you please guide me? How can I solve the issue?

Your issue is not very clear. What are you trying to do? What is "automatic actual line analysis"?

I'll hazard a guess that you are trying to generate an all-line axial map? If that's what you're trying to do it will only work in buildings or in cases where the street is completely represented, (with its edges as different lines) and not if you have each street represented by a single line. If what you have is each street represented by a single line you can just convert your map to an axial map through Map -> Convert Drawing Map, or Map -> Convert Active Map.

If that's not what you are trying to do, please make it more clear and provide a sample of what you're importing.

Hi Petros Thank you for your response. I tried alot to follow what you mentioned. However, there was a crash on depthmap once I included the double street lines. Depthmap immediately closes when I follow the instructions on the doubled street lines map. I attached a screenshot of what I got with a single street line map. Hi Petros How is it possible to analyze a road map when a highway and a street are on top of each other? What I'm trying to say is about the crossroads of two streets, but one is on top of another like two-level bridges in highways. They are like intersections in a 2d map from the top view, but in the 3d view, one is on top of another. The "Depthmap" is a 2d platform. So, how is such an example possible to be analyzed?
