I've finally cleaned up and published my Victron Energy VE.Direct input parser libary. It's now available at https://github.com/SensESP/VEDirect.
The library lets you input data from any Victron Energy VE.Direct serial interface, allowing you to connect any Victron Energy product with a VE.Direct port to your SensESP device and Signal K. VE.Direct to NMEA 2000 interfacing is also easy to do but the examples don't cover those cases yet.
If Victron's requirement of using galvanic isolation is ignored, the physical interface is very simple to implement. A logic level converter is required for some VE.Direct devices with 5V logic (all MPPT controllers, in particular), however.
Feedback is appreciated, and patches and contributions even more so! Enjoy.
