im having these issues while setting up local development on windows PC. #2126

What is the location of your example repository?

Which package or tool is having this issue?

Hydrogen

What version of that package or tool are you using?

im using windows PC terminal to install shopify hydrogen

What version of Remix are you using?

No response

Steps to Reproduce

i use the exact commands from shopify.dev hydrogen documentation

Expected Behavior

it just not working, as it was quickly installed on macOS

What version of node and npm are you using?

im using node latest version. once i try installing npm in the storefront directory it doesnt go well. above screenshots display the errors.

For now, can you install git and ensure you have it available in your terminal? The error says git is not recognized as an internal or external command so it's probably that.

We shouldn't be depending on git directly, it's a bug in @shopify/oxygen-workers-type package.

im still having the same issue after installing the git
tried on different windows installations and still didnt get it done.
