Hello Colleagues,

We are from BTP End to End Scenario Enablement team.
We are in the process of developing sample application to educate external developers how to build an event driven side by side S/4 HANA extension application using CAP and run it on Kyma runtime.

As a part of the above activity, we were connecting to on-premise from SAP BTP KYMA runtime via CAP and cloud-sdk.
We came across the below note in SAP Cloud SDK documentation
"On-Premise connectivity in Kubernetes is currently not available for external SAP customers. This might be changed in the near future. We'll be updating our documentation accordingly."

Can you please clarify us if On-Premise connectivity from SAP BTP Kyma runtime via Cloud sdk is supported?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Shankari G R

Hey @shankarigr,

we are currently in the process of improving the integration with on-premise connectivity from a Kubernetes cluster, with a more seamless integration coming approx. in the next few weeks.

In theory, this should already work for you if you do the workarounds mentioned in the guide you linked.
The only limiting factor is the connectivity proxy, if you are able to deploy the connectivity proxy on Kyma, then you can already use on-premise connectivity from your cluster.
