Testing+Readme #1
Comments
Hello, @MariusVanDerWijden. This repo does not seem to be maintained for a long time. I've succeeded using some of the commands with my Arduino-based solution which does not involve python at all. Recently, I've tried this python implementation and it does not seem to work for various reasons. TL;DRNothing is guaranteed. The long version.I have some private implementation for Arduino-based (Wemos/ESP8266) devices connected against the 5V debug port hidden inside front of some of Jura coffee-makers. I have also my own repo covering this (but private, as it's reverse engineering anyway)... working python tool that can send commands and translate received messages from the RS232 port (on the contrary of Arduino using debug port). Tested machines:
Potentially supported:
We're looking forward to get new machine soon (the one with large display and bluetooth support), but it's expensive. In my experience, it's possible to control X9 and XS90 in order to make coffee and switch billing mode under certain circumstances. |
Hello,
I'm pretty interested in this repo, but i had a small question.
On which jura machines have you tested your code?
I want to buy one, but make sure that I don't buy a false one.
Maybe you can add to the Readme on which machines this code works.
Thank you in advance
