Hugging Faces Down: Unable to run models that have already been downloaded. #744

If hugging faces is down we are unable to load models that we have previously downloaded. It would be nice to have some check/safeguard for this also just in case the models we have downloaded before are removed from hugging faces or something.

Isn't downloaded all local?
Then we don't need internet connection at all.
Right?!

@ABottleOJack Isn't downloaded models, all locally available?
Then we don't need internet connection at all, right?
Right?!

Can you elaborate your issue further? So, can I understand and clear my query of downloaded model requiring internet?

If that is the case, then all these models aren't really local at all, right?
Or are they local?
