Illegal Hardware Instruction for command 'python run_localGPT.py --device_type mps'

I tried to clone the repo and run the command for LocalGPT, but got an error while running the command

python run_localGPT.py --device_type mps

This was the error message

I followed all the steps for MBPs mentioned in the ReadMe any suggestions, why would I get this error?
