I have an issue where I can't launch apps from GWSL dashboard. I allowed GWSL to pass through the firewall but the issue still persists.

Running an app under plain VCXSRV gives out this log:

Welcome to the VcXsrv X Server
Vendor: The VcXsrv Project
Release: 1.20.9.0

OS: Windows NT 10.0 build 19044 (64-bit)
Contact: [email protected]

LoadPreferences: C:\Users\realm\AppData\Roaming\.XWinrc not found
LoadPreferences: Loading C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\28644OpticosStudios.GWSL_1.4.3.0_x64__r3mwbcqrwk84r\GWSL\VCXSRV\system.XWinrc
(EE) AIGLX: No native OpenGL in modes with a root window
(EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of swrast_dri.dll failed (Getting loadlibrary error string not implemented)
(EE) AIGLX error: unable to load driver swrast
(EE) GLX: could not load software renderer
(II) GLX: no usable GL providers found for screen 0

I can launch xclock, but not other apps like gedit.

What error are you getting if you run the app directly from bash?

Sorry I was out of town. Hmm I think the firewall is still messed up. Can you screenshot the firewall configuration the way it is now?

Hmm. Can you try deleting the GWSL vcxsrv rule, restarting the machine, and re launching GWSL. It will ask for the firewall permission again. This often fixes the problem.
