Google Calendar widget looks really wonky. I'd prefer to remove it and have a more casual, short blurb, blog style post about what's going on with the group. I'd rather have something that looks nice in comparison to google calendar. It's possible with Meetup API to load past+upcoming meetup events using javascript and fill down the page.
