IMHO this would be a great addition as Redis is used in many production systems.

I have not needed a queueing mechanism (yet) but can see a need for one in the future of my projects.

I can have a look at this soonish, but I'm not sure how soon that will be.
Happy to collaborate with others as I'm kind of new to Redis in general.
