I'm using a program called Stardock Fences version 4.22 to display the contents of some folders directly on the Desktop.

It's a paid program but there is a 30 day free trial.

I randomly had trouble that Folder Portals would suddenly have a black background, for example when I enable or disable a monitor. After a restart of explorer.exe it would go back to normal:

I just now figured out it happens because of ExplorerBlurMica. I know fixing third-party compatibility must not be high on the list of things to do but I thought I would mention it. Generally the programs seem to work fine together as you can see on the first screenshot. It's just when a display gets enabled or disabled things change to black until a explorer.exe restart.

I would be willing to help out with testing if anybody looks into this. Perhaps a way for ExploerBlurMica to ignore Fences / Folder Portals would be enough.

I would like to add that I'm also experiencing this and it's extremely an extremely annoying and unfortunate bug. If anyone finds a solution to this please do tell :)
