Database can't be on an external harddrive #54
Comments
I am not able to re-produce this error on Windows 10. I was able to run on a M.2 SSD (ADATA SU800, internal extra drive for control) and portable USB (SanDisk Ultra USB). Are you referencing something like this? (I don't know if there would be a difference since it would still use USB 2/3) |
I used an external hdd to get the error. It could also be the issue with the database not starting up fast enough and the backend crashing, which was fixed in #41 Once I have my system running again, I will try it out :) |
I am not sure why postgres is complaining, but it really does not like being on an external hdd.
