Why SMBIOS Processor Max Speed is different from WMI MaxClockSpeed?

Hi,

I have a Intel 10700 CPU and the MaxClockSpeed from WMI is 2904:

Get-CimInstance Win32_Processor | Select-Object -Expand MaxClockSpeed

This value (2904) is also consistent with the base frequency shown in Task Manager.

According to the Win32_Processor documentation, MaxClockSpeed is

Maximum speed of the processor, in MHz. This value comes from the Max Speed member of the Processor Information structure in the SMBIOS information.

However, the MaxSpeed from SMBIOS reported by LibreHardwareMonitor is 4200:

Processor External Clock: 100 Mhz
Processor Max Speed: 4200 Mhz
Processor Current Speed: 2871 Mhz

Why are they different?
