Autospotting try to attach instance to ElasticLoadBalancer before the CodeDeploy deployment process #518
Comments
@criapix thanks for reporting this issue. Which version of AutoSpotting do you use, the Community Edition or the Commercial Edition from the AWS Marketplace? |
@cristim I'm using the AWS Marketplace version. |
@criapix great, I'll look into it ASAP. Let's have call to better understand the issue and how you think it should be resolved. Please schedule something when it works for you using my calendly https://calendly.com/cristi-leanercloud/30min |
@cristim my English speaking skills are not very strong, but I will do my best to assist you in a chat conversation |
Currently, when Autospotting replaces an On-Demand instance with a spot instance, it immediately adds the spot instance to the Elastic Load Balancer (ELB). However, this causes an issue when the CodeDeploy deployment process is still in progress. The spot instance is terminated by the ELB's Health Check due to inadequate response.
Is there any configuration that can be set to make Autospotting wait until the deployment is completed before attaching the instance to the ELB?
