With the latest release some emojis have two icons e.g.: πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ and πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ

here's a picture to better show the issue:

I had similiar problem.
Reason in my case was outdated emoji font file (/system/fonts/NotoColorEmoji.ttf) #468 (comment).
I fixed it by replacing font file via TWRP custom recovery. I used file manager which is included in TWRP.
I downloaded new font file from here: https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji/raw/main/fonts/NotoColorEmoji.ttf.
