when testing ZuluJDK17 we noticed that the dmg was not downloaded. It seems that there were bits missing from the downloadurl variable.
We ended up using 'curl -fs "https://cdn.azul.com/zulu/bin/" | grep -Eio '">zulu17.*ca-jdk17.aarch64.dmg(.)' | cut -c3- | tail -1 | awk -F "<" '{print $1}'' for arm and 'curl -fs "https://cdn.azul.com/zulu/bin/" | grep -Eio '">zulu17.*ca-jdk17.x64.dmg(.)' | cut -c3- | tail -1 | awk -F "<" '{print $1}'' for intel.
Now it seems to work properly.
