Transient prompt doesn't work when input ^C to abort inputting #492

Describe the bug

When input ^C to abort inputting, the prompt of the interrupted input is not transient.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Type something (don't press Enter)
  2. Press Ctrl+C
  3. See error
