You must be logged in to vote

That's the username and host. It's fairly common to have that in the shell prompt, so you can tell which computer you're running commands on. (You don't want to connect to a remote computer and then run the wrong commands!) For example, here's Bash on Linux:

My username is sam and my host (AKA computer name) is sam-lubuntu. Which I should probably change because I'm using kubuntu not lubuntu, but oh well.
