Lighthouse 10 redirecting to browser License page while auditing a page . is there a way to disable it

This is intentional and necessary to test the back/forward cache. If you want to disable it, you can skip the bfcache audit by adding skipAudits: ['bf-cache'] to your Lighthouse settings.

I tried to find these settings in the UI ( Microsoft Edge) , but didnt find a way to do so .

I also tried to use the lighthouse cli , but I need to measure the performance metrics on Microsoft Edge browser. I tried the below examples, but was not able to gain any progress.

1. lighthouse https://example.com --output json --output-path C:\0506.json --disable-device-emulation --chrome-flags "CHROME_PATH='C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe'"
2. lighthouse https://example.com/ --output json --output-path C:\0506.json --disable-device-emulation --chrome-flags="CHROME_PATH='C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe'"
3. CHROME_PATH="C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe"
   lighthouse https://example.com/ --output json --output-path C:\0506.json --disable-device-emulation

Is there any way to use the cli to measure performance on Edge ?

If you are using Lighthouse CLI, try the flag --skip-audits bf-cache

I dont have Chrome installed on my machine , and I would rather want to measure it on Microsoft Edge Browser . hence I am not able to use lighthouse cli with

Looks like you are on windows, I think you are setting the environment variable incorrectly. Try this:

set CHROME_PATH="C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe"
lighthouse https://example.com/ --output json --output-path C:\0506.json --disable-device-emulation --skip-audits bf-cache

Thanks Adam for all your help. I tried this earlier. The issue was with the double quotes provided in the exe path. I tried without it, worked.
