Does not show games added to steam via steam rom manager.

I recently started using steam ROM manager to mass add non-steam games to steam, used to use playnite but I'm not a big fan of the interface. It doesn't seem as if the steam search plugin lists non-steam games that were added through steam rom manager. Is this an issue on my end or does this simply not work yet?

This was added in version 7 as I had the same experience with Playnite. I use this feature everyday.

Can you see if there is a log located in the plugin directory and post it here?

Do you have multiple Steam accounts?

Also did you change your keyword to *? By default the keyword to trigger the plugin is st.

EDIT: Correction version 4 is when this feature was added.

I have the same error, non steam games are not recognized. Tested with and without the st keyword.

I am unable to reproduce this issue. If you can please post/link the plugin.log file in Steam-Search's install directory.

You can find this easily by opening Flow Launcher's settings and clicking here:

Also it would help to link your Steam loginusers.vdf as this is used to determine which user the plugin is looking under. If you have a different version installed your format might not be what the plugin expects. None of this is documented and Valve can and may change formats at any time.

This can be located at this path by default:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\loginusers.vdf

And should look something like this:

Lastly it would help to link the database file for all shortcuts located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YOUR USER ID HERE>\config\shortcuts.vdf

Sorry for the late response. Plugin.log seems to be blank. It just opens a blank notepad++ file
But I was able to find the shortcuts.vdf file, however github gives an error stating that they dont support that file.

The biggest help would be uploading your "shortcuts.vdf".

If Github won't let you upload it try zipping it in a zip file.
