Today, I had to do an SMC reset in order to turn on my laptop. (pressing the power button repeatedly would not turn the computer on; I saw notice that a reset might be needed).

After turning on the computer, my bookmarks reset. For example, my link to Slack is now using a URL that that changed on October 3, 2016 and a old favicon for the 18F website.

I've lost a bunch of bookmarks, though not all. What's the right next step?
