I flashed the firmware using the ST-LINK Utility then plugged into my computer. Windows starts setting it up and it shows up as FreeJoy v1.7.1 in FreeJoyConfiguratorQt but it shows as disconnected.

configurator is also version 1.7.1?
try flashing FreeJoy_v1_7_1b0, open Game Controllers -> FreeJoy -> Properties -> Test tab. Touch pins a0-a3, do the axes stand still or move like on the gif?

I solved my issue. My computer is not close to my monitors so I use a USB over ethernet extender and for some reason freejoy does not like that. When i plugged the bluepill directly into my computer it started working fine.

I have a similar problem with VoСore display in my steering wheel but freejoy works fine. I am using 5m usb cable + 2.5m spiral cable and the display is not working. If i add usb hub after 5m usb cable everything works fine
