When testing yesterdays as the pis we reconnected the voltage on the 5v line to the extent that we decided to connect the brain pi with its own power supply. Overnight the right-eye pi crashed. When trying to revive it, it was being very flaky and then crashed again. So I have also connected it with its own power supply and it seems a lot happier.

We need to look into replacing the power supply for the 5v line that we are confident can provide enough current.
