Hi, great tool, like it very much.

Do you have a chance to implement:

  • 1. right mouse button, copy file offset, in binary or decimal
  • 2. dark mode of the UI in windows
  • 3. file compare: key board shortcut to jump to next change (I know, it can be done with cursor and click on the index), like ALT + cursor down / up in winwerge

Thanks, happy to see you developing further :)

Hello. Thanks for share your views. I quit developing but came to fix some issues. Now. Will look into them when I start developing.

  1. Right mouse button just switch hex->oct->dec view on offset view currently...You can use LEFT mouse button to copy any offset for offset view... But I think It's good to click cursor offset pane at bottom to copy it's value to clipboard. Hexadecimal, octal or decimal depending current offset mode at offset view area. Doesn't sound better?

  2. Yeah, it should need to support it. Need some research about how wxWidgets support it.

  3. I thought that users might use comparison result window to use up/down keys to find diffs... Isn't that useful for that?

Hi EUA, thanks.

1: was not aware that it copies the offset with left click, nice. But It only a section, if I need for example section + 4 bytes?
2: Cool, thanks for looking into this.
3: Mouse usage is ok but messy in my opionion. I like winmerge for example, there you can navigate with ALT+ARROW UP/Down to the next difference. But hey, I am still happy with wxHexEditor, it is really nice. Great job!!
