Changing the default color for controls

Greetings,
I tried to change the primary colour for the theme and i can see it on the generated css but all the controls, buttons, tabs, date picker, etc, still show as pink.

Hi, material uses secondary color for Controls (https://github.com/Daemonite/material/blob/master/assets/scss/variables/_variable-material.scss)

$selection-control-color-active: theme-color(secondary) !default;
