For my Android and MacOS I've set the device up to change to dark mode when battery saver is enabled/battery level goes under 30% and change back to light mode when battery is above 30%. I'd like for this to be an option in the app.

Doing this makes it really obvious that device needs to be connected to power soon.

There is sadly an issue with Windows 10 (I haven't verified yet if it's fixed in Win11) where theme switching no longer works when battery saver is enabled.

So for the forseeable future this can't be implemented.

Additionally, turning on the Dark Mode with Battey Saver makes no sense for most laptops as they come with LCD/TN panels which have no benefit whatsoever for saving battery and for users with issues such as astigmatism like me, making reading even harder on cheaper displays.

@Spiritreader Damn what a bummer. Could it be implemented just as an option for Windows 11?

@HarshdeepSinghChauhan I don't want it for powersaving, just as a visual reminder to plug in the charger. The Windows battery notification disappers automatically and sometimes I forget, if I'm right in the middle of something that I want to spend a couple of minutes finishing, before finding my charger. I use this option on my Android phone and find it really useful as a subtle reminder. 😊
