Feature idea: Search files in a particular directory #179
Comments
@HLSiira What do you think of this feature request? Do you need more explanations or is it quite understandable? |
Oh shoot, I forgot to reply to you, I'm sorry. Yeah 100% going to add, it's super strong QoL request; just got caught up working on rewriting the entire context menu system and then all the things that were related to it. |

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I can see that there is a feature to recursively search all files containing a specific string. It is very usefull. But instead of searching in the entire project it would be great to search in a specific folder. That could avoid to wait minutes and minutes when the search process is performed in the whole project (including cache files etc).
Describe the solution you'd like
You could remove the global search button and add instead an entry "Search" in the contextual (right-click) menu of directories AND project root.
