Multiple IR receivers on multiple data pins

Hello,
I am trying to work with IR receivers using IRremote library, single receiver on one data pin is working fine, and multiple receiver on one data pin is also working fine, but my project demands for multiple receivers at multiple data pins but using this library it is not working. Can anyone please help me out.

I just came here to post the very same question. Looks like creating multiple instances of IRrecv creates timer conflicts that prevents them all from working. I remember reading somewhere that the library had been updated to support multiple instances of IRrecv, but I haven't been able to make it work.

I'm working on a human safety product. An array of IR transmitters and receivers will be set up parallelly, facing each other. Each transmitter will emit unique data, which the respective receiver will expect to receive. We can consider them as publishers and subscribers. The receiver will only accept the expected data and discard any other data.

UNO doesn't have RMT peripheral and there is no such function available for multiple instances on IR remote library

How can you be shure, that one receiver does not see the physical IR signals from the neighbours and therefore will be disturbed?
