What is the problem that your feature request solves

It would be nice to be able to have specific Archive Methods pre-selected when using the Add web interface, as manually selecting them is not necessarily efficient.

For example, I personally only want title, favicon, headers, singlefile, screenshot, dom, wget, readability.
I do not want pdf, git, media, or archive_org for 99% of archived websites, as pdf generally can take a lot of extra unnecessary space, as can git and media, if they are present.

Describe the ideal specific solution you'd want, and whether it fits into any broader scope of changes

Ideally there should be a config option somewhere that allows one to pre-select the specific Archive methods desired so that when navigating to the Add web interface, one simply has to provide input URLs or links to archive, and start archival.

What hacks or alternative solutions have you tried to solve the problem?

I have not tried any methods at current. I am not a web developer sadly, my only though is perhaps removal of the options through using uBlock Origin or some custom CSS, would allow manually selecting the only desired options to be done faster.

How badly do you want this new feature?

  • It would be nice to have eventually

  • I like ArchiveBox so far / would recommend it to a friend

Thank you!
