I created a Xiaomi Zigbee adapter add-on for the Things Gateway by Mozilla if you guys are interested.

Unfortunately, only the WSDCGQ01LM Mijia Smart Home Temperature and Humidity Sensor is supported right now. I don't have any other devices so contributions are welcome. ✌️

Seems https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt is most up to date with most device support. I'd recommend contributing to that and get the custom adaptations to specific things as separate projects.
