Status error message

Status says this: "Disconnected: File not found: check your credentials and Nextcloud instance"

I don't know what this message is telling me.

All the three credentials - server address, username, and app-generated password - that I've entered into the app are entered perfectly correct.

Hello. This means that your nextcloud server returned error 404 Not Found. This means that either you have installed nextcloud in subdirectory(currently not supported, a bug which was fixed by @penguin86, pull request #7 ) or there is some problem with your Nextcloud server(maintaince mode or misconfigured rewrite engine)
